Scores
Radio
The radio is how the city actually talks. No feeds, no apps, no corporate platform watching you back. Just raw, crackling, analogue signal cutting through the static.
Underground Radio
A pirate frequency anyone can jump on. Regular people use it to scream for help, tip off a Crew about Talos moving, or put out a call for the jobs nobody else will touch. This is where every night starts.
In Outgunned terms, the Underground Radio is how the Director drops the Hook at the top of each Shot. You hear it back at HQ and decide whether you're answering the call.
Heroes with the Signal Hijack Feat can also broadcast on the Underground Radio mid-mission, calling in favours or spreading disinformation to Talos listeners.
Crew Radio
Once your Crew hits 10 total reputation, you get your own encrypted channel. Private comms, runs called in real time, and the quiet buzz of knowing the city is finally clocking you.
Crew Radio pays off mechanically too: you can coordinate across different spots in the same Scene. With it, a Hero can use the Pep Talk Feat or pass info to teammates halfway across the city.
Scores
Scores are the jobs your Crew takes on. In Outgunned terms, each Score is a Shot (a single-session adventure). String a run of them together and you've got a Cinematic Campaign, building toward a Turning Point and a final Showdown.
Score Structure
- Hook - the call comes in on the radio
- Scenes - 3-5 scenes mixing action, investigation, and character moments
- Chase - at least one chase on Gear (use the Outgunned Need tracker)
- Twist - a revelation or complication mid-Score
- Climax - final confrontation with high stakes
- Resolution - or a cliffhanger that hooks into the next Score
Heist Scores
Some Scores go down as Heists on the Outgunned Heist Campaign rules. The Crew builds a Masterplan, and Plan Bs fire in Flashback mode to show the prep you swear you did earlier. The Tag Plan B is especially fun in Flashback: "Remember that mural I painted on the Talos precinct last week? Yeah, it was hiding a jammer."
